The parliamentary election of 2016 and the accession of Modi to the very supreme power of India, followed by it, were perplexedly looked by the entire Indians. His victory was subjected to the intense debates in political discourses, as his views were fascist stereotypes and everybody thought of a dichotomy of fascism going to have power in the setup of democracy. After his accession, he along with his colleagues started the process of modification which was aimed on the re invention of socio-cultural, educational and political domains of the serious injury to the values and laws of constitution.
Administering arbitration started in India from very early itself. It reached at its peak in colonial period and the post colonial period so an adherence of the colonial period. Most of the rulers argued that they are developing the nation to an international level and mean while they attacked the very nations of constitution such as secularism justice etc.
Very numerable rulers could only enable the dreams of Indians and safeguard the social fabric of India. Most of the rulers came with the unrealistic ideas that deteriorated the socio-political and cultural context of the India.
Pre-modi period of Arbitration
The pre – modi period of arbitration starts early before colonial period .But the colonial period saw a weird arbitration which reached at its peak .colonial period was a period were the rulers encroached the cultural tradition and heritage of India.
Where ever the revolts against the British become successful, orders were immediately issued banning of cow slaughter out of respect for hinds. Same way they ordered issues in respect of other religions. This led to the devastation of enacted secularism of India. This habit continued even in the independent India. Leaders ranging from Patel to Indira Gandhi took actions to their will instead of looking the humans will. The devastation of the dreams in the minds of Indians even created a discontentment in their mind which reduced their belief in democracy.
Un-realistic ideas of Modi and the dreams of Indians
The development projects of Modi like Digital India, Make in India, clean India and “other such amalgamations” is said to rare maid a little hope in the distressed minds of Indians. But the actions followed by had damaged even this hope.
Most of the rulers fail to understand the real problems of Indians. They focused on the developing the relations of India in the rest of the world. That is they were economical in perspectives. Dreams of Indians were social and political in character. But rulers couldn’t see these problems.
Modi’s most projects were economical concentrating only the elitist class of Indian. He talks of the domestic problems of Indians and answered with foreign solutions. His foreign solution to the domestic problems of Indians always went in veil. His “Clean India” project of lacks concentrates on the metropolitan cities of India while the lion’s part of Indians faces the lack of sanitary facilities like ways, every project of Modi were unrealistic, concentrating the elitist or only some part of Indians, even after completing several days of ‘clean India’ proclamation, no developments occurred in social domain of India. The trivial actions of Modi could only create distress in the minds of Indians.
Totalitarianism of Modi and future of Indians
The…………. in the epoch of independence put forward several visions for the future of India. Among them visions of Gandhi and Tagore are more acceptable. But in an interview with Amartya Sen, he told that; Tagore’s visions are better than Gandhiji’s. According to the visions of Tagore; India could only enable the aspirations and dreams of citizens only when eight conditions are filled. Among them important were, one; where the minds without fear, second; where knowledge is free, third; where the head is high, giving importance to the citizens. But even these conditions are deteriorated. Modi’s rule lies on the foundation of fear on the minds of Indians. Presently knowledge system in India is destructing. The actions of central government against JNU and HSU can be seen as part of this.
Modi’s rule is not only arbitration but also totalitarianism over the civil society, destructing the socio-political and legal institution and traditions. It focuses and places the interest of nation at the centre point, thereby avoiding the aspiration of civil society.
The totalitarianism of Modi is same as the Benito Mussolini’s rule and no doubt in this condition, no aims or the dreams of the nation is going to be fulfilled.
