Pilgrimage is the stream of dream of each and every Muslims.
For Allah, when our hearts go there
Were we turn our face during prayer and in grave yard
Were the history smiles, now to lit the world
When we send thousands of thanks for his support
And mercy around the Ka’aba wall,
To shed tears.. ,Were many shed blood of faith
The pilgrimage is once in a life time obligation for those who have physical and financial ability to undertake the journey. It is essentially a reenactment of the rituals of great Prophet and teachers of Islam. It symbolically relives the experience of exile ad atonement undergone by Adam (AS) and Hawa(R) after they were expelled from the Heave. They also retrace the frantic footsteps of the wife of Ibrahim (AS), Hajar(AS), as she ran between the hills of Safa and Marwa searching for water for her thirsty baby. This also commemorates the wellness of Ibrahim (AS) to sacrifice his son for the sake of God. God later substituted ran in place of his son. It teaches one to show sincerity ad humility I one’s relationship with God.
Islam has two major religious calibrations during the Islamic lunar year. The first is after the completion of Ramadan, the Islamic month which Muslims fast daily from down to sun set as a part of an afford towards self purification and betterment. The second takes place during the time of the pilgrimage, Eid ul adha and the first Eid ul Fitr. Getting a fortune to complete Ramadan and Hajj is very treasure ad pleasure. Hajj is far different from all other prayers. Which gives special experience of submission to God? This also needs his call…
By him, house the loving pilgrims visit,
Responding with Ihram at the appointed limit
Uncovering their heads I total humility
Before one to whom face bow in servility.
They exclaim in the valley
<<We have responded to you. All Praise to you and the kingdom too!>>
He invited us and they answered, with love and pleasure.
When they call upon Him, came the divine treasure..
The pilgrim consists of several ceremonies, meant to mainly symbolize the essential concepts of the Islamic faith, and secondly to commemorate the trials of millions of Muslims perform the pilgrimage annually. Ibrahi(AS) is figure revered by Muslims, Jews, and Christians alike as a righteous person who lived over four thousand years ago. His story can be found in Bible as well as in Qur’an. Ibrahim (AS) is considered to be patriarch of Monotheism, who sought a personsonal relationship with his creator. He left his native city Ur in Mesopotamia after voicing opposition to his people polytheistic practices, and eventually settled in Egypt with his family. Later he escorted one of his wives Hajara and their infant son Ismail (AS) to a desolate valley in Arabia d left there, trusting in God’s promise to care for them.
Ibrahim (AS) returned time to time to visited when Ismail (AS) was about 13 year old, He and Ismail (AS) constructed Kaaba as a place dedicated for the worship of the one God. Eventually, Mecca became an important trading post by the time of Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (SW) 25 years later and Prophet Muhammad (SW) was told to follow the religion of Ibrahim (AS). The civilization that takes place during the time of Prophet Muhammad (SW) was unique, distinguished. How that dark place turned to brightest? For that success, that place is witness were He sped His energy, blood, teeth and also tears to uplift the society. Now itself we can see him as a beacon showing the right way and His sacred places resembles it.
